G-force wipes out South Africa!!!

Its not India bashing.. India lashing in the hands of Australia & West Indies.. Its official now.. Australia and West Indies are the top two teams of the cricketing world....In a way India should be praised for indirectly helping the old and long forgotten rivalry between Australia and West Indies revive. Not since 1975 World cup did Australia and West Indies contested in a major final. We let them do that in DLF cup and now again in Champions Trophy.

In a way its good for the cricket. I am sick and tired of this rather undeserved hype of India being number two behind Australia ......Its now official that West Indies pushes us from that position. This is because too much importance attached to too few players who keep their positions in the team because of past glory.

Anyday...I rather prefer to watch India win a final even if they  do not have stalwarts like Tendulkar, Sewhag , Dravid and Dhoni and have just team players like Sandhu, Binny , Madan Lal & Kirmani as long as they can win a tournament like they did in 1983... no high profile coach, no high profile captain  and no no high profile batsman like Tendulkar...

Kapi.... how and what did you do to achieve such a great win with mediocre players and have dethroned the then World Champions and full of star players.. I guess they are coming back again....

India should prepare for a very long dry period... It took 23 years for West Indies come out of that chock treatment given by Kapil's Devils... how long it would take for India is a question best answered by Indian cricketing authorities, team members and last but not the least by Indian cricket fans who seems to always enjoy a century by Tendulkar rather than a Indian victory like they did in DLF Cup match against West Indies.

Dravid's biography - the worst ever?

Thanks Devendra for defending your work. I totally disagree with 4th Umpire's view on the book. I did read the whole book and it certainly given some insight into one of the gentlemen of cricket and I put it on par with Gulu Ezekiel's Sachin and suggest 4th Umpire not to read that either as it would be an even more chronological procession for him.Though both of these books does't fully establish the other side of these cricketers like Bradman's biography they definitely are good reads.
